Update for B2B Approval Rules & Rights Management
The Approval Rules & Rights Management is part of the Shopware B2B Components. It allows you to set up differentiated approval workflows and tailor user-level permissions for accessing B2B functionalities.
We have now expanded the Approval Rules & Rights Management further, enabling you to also use it for B2B Employee Management. This way, you can establish rules for the approval of orders.
To this end, we've added a Rule Builder to the storefront. (Previously, there was only an interface for plugins to add conditions.) This Rule Builder is based on the Rule Builder already known from the administration, meaning it can also be extended. Customers and agencies can thus utilize additional options to define rules in the B2B context or adapt them with respect to their projects and requirements.

All features of the B2B Components are available from Shopware Evolve.
Enhancements to Digital Sales Rooms
With Digital Sales Rooms, you can present products to customers in a video appointment, creating unparalleled, interactive shopping experiences. This feature has now been improved on various levels.
Shopware Frontends replaces PWA
The PWA is being replaced by Shopware frontends. Through the technical overhaul, Digital Sales Rooms can be implemented faster and easier than ever before starting from Shopware 6.5.
Numerous UX improvements for guides and participants
Digital Sales Rooms has received a facelift. We have completely revamped the frontend for the guide and participants.
For the guide view: The guide now has its own page navigation. Here, they can instantly create product lists and integrate them live into an existing presentation, save products to their watchlist, and access their own notes.
We've created a unified page navigation for guides and participants, through which the participant list, recently viewed products, watchlist, and their own shopping cart can be accessed. Specifically for guides, they can get an overview of the shopping carts/watchlists of all participants as well as per participant.
We've made optimizations for guides, allowing them to highlight products even better for their customers.
Interaction with participants has also been optimized, enabling guides to navigate to individual customers more quickly, for example, in the product listing.
Guides can now also view the respective watchlists and shopping carts of a participant together with their participants.
More customization options for backgrounds during video transmissions
For enhanced privacy protection, all participants of a guided session can now blur their video backgrounds, use standard background images, or even upload their own images.
Expansion of video functions: Choose between different views
The "Content" video view has been expanded with the "Conference" and "Lecture" views. Guides can thus choose between the following three views:
Content: In this view, the primary focus is on the content of the product presentation, and the participants are displayed secondarily. The video window is freely movable and can be repositioned as desired by all participants.
Conference: In this view, all participants of a guided session are displayed. This view is perfect for starting a meeting with a brief introduction round or for transitioning into direct interaction after a product presentation.
Speech: In this view, only the guide is visible, who can present products via video, for example, from a showroom.
We wish you lots of fun and success with all the improvements and new features of the latest version. Update now
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all GitHub contributors for their pull requests that have been incorporated into this version. 💙
